I bought this pillow for nursing my second child while laying/sitting in bed. I learned the first time around how strenuous it can be on your back. If you're looking for a pillow for that reason, stop looking and click "purchase", because oh my gosh, this is THE breastfeeding pillow. I'm literally feeding him right now while writing this, my back is well supported and I'm comfortable. I leaned back the other day to close my eyes while nursing and smooshed the filling around to get my head a little more comfortable, and it totally works with you. Love this pillow.
