This product is an excellent one. I’ll give it 5 stars and recommend it to others, there are some negatives that you must know, but I’m sure that many of you may not take these cons into consideration.
Bissell is a company that boasts of being experts in the vacuum industry. Excellence products with high reliability and functionality, and these qualities are shown in the Bissell 3 in 1 vacuum. Most vacuums are basically the same, yet you choose your type of vacuum due to your need for it. Example a canister vacuum for your vehicles or an upright vacuum for your floors and carpets, a hand held vacuum for some little clean ups and so on.
So specifically about this vacuum, for a little machine the suction is superb, superb for the size and usage. Don’t expect to get the same ability of a Dyson or one of the larger end huge Eureka’s, out of this machine (not specifically stating that Eureka is a top of the line vacuum, not that it’s not, just using a comparison.) The product is very light weight, at only 4 lbs you swear you’re holding nothing. The power cord is long enough, to some this is a very important factor, personally not for me, but it is long for those that require such. The dust bin is very simple to empty and clean and bag-less, so no need to spend money on replacement bags or worrying about bags ripping, etc. being such a small and compact machine, its easy to store in any little cupboard, under a bed, etc. with respect to the seller, shipping was as stated.
Being a 3 in 1 vacuum you obviously know it can be and upright (stick), handheld and crevice, which in reality is a 2 in 1 and not really a 3 in 1, since the crevice and handheld are basically the same. No problem here thus far though.
Bissell 3 in 1 as an upright (stick);
It’s not for those who have large areas you need to clean. For a bedroom, a little apartment or something small, then yea, this is defiantly for you. If you have the time, you can do those large areas, but it’s good to know that suction area to attach to make the vacuum an upright vacuum is about 8inches ( my guess ) which is approximately half a tile, therefore that’s 2 ‘’sweeps ‘’ per tile, it can become somewhat tiresome for large areas. But for large areas you can do it, no doubt. The suction is great as well, I said it before and I’ll say it again, for a little machine the suction is really good. As for carpets, I personally find that it’s very good for thin carpets, but it won’t do those tall carpets, so that’s something to take into consideration if purchasing this product. How many carpets do I have? And the carpets I do have are they tall, thick and fluffy?
Bissell 3 in 1 as a handheld device;
Whatever hand held vacuum you own, this one MIGHT just be better. I’ve experienced many unbranded ones, Black and Decker, Eureka, etc. and the Bissell served its purpose excellently. But remember, this comparison is one to vacuums of same size and ability. It’s not fair to compare the 3 in 1 hand held experience to something like;

Bissell 3 in 1 as a handheld device with crevice tool;
There is nothing much to say about this, as it’s exactly the same as the handheld with a crevice tool. So exact same suction power etc….
This product has numerous positives about it, what negatives you may ask;
The vacuum suffers from suction loss. That is, when the vacuum is partially filled with debris expect it not to pick up much again until you empty the can. You can get approximately 100sq ft of a completely dirty room cleaned, before you start to lose suction. Like stated above, this is not a problem for those who have the time. After every room you can empty your dust can and just restart your cleaning, for some this is a no biggy, for others it might be. It’s all about your preference.
I’ve owned this product about 8 – 10 months now, which obviously shows a very durable vacuum, yet there is a filter in the machine. This filter of mines never tore or ripped yet, but there is the RISK of it doing so, something to take into consideration. Even though a filter is under 5USD, it’s something to state and take under consideration.
The price on Amazon is 30 USD on average. GREAT PRICE for such machine, but if you are interested in it, don’t buy here. Wal-Mart actually has it for less than 20 USD, so get it there instead. Also if you look around I’ve heard some stores actually sell it for even lower, 16 USD, etc. check ‘Wally-World’
In summary if you’re a university student (ideally) or someone with a small house or apartment that needs a product to keep your pad clean, at a cheap price, which will probably last you your entire school life and hopefully longer this is a product for you. A vacuum with powerful suction, the ability for it to be what you want it to be when you need it, a long lasting device, easy to use, easy to set up, easy to clean.
