Stop killing trees and get one of these!!
In 45 I have put my household on its way to end this toilet paper supply/demand crisis. This item came in today 8/17/20 and its already installed and user acceptance tested by 2 of us in the household. Let me start by saying as a larger size male who has experienced some claustrophobia episodes in some tight toilet spaces, this is a MUST have. I had to work a little harder than common installations. 1. I am in a newer town home and the water supply cutoff is not a handle you can turn. It is a pull out valve that a big man had to contort his body between the wall valve and toilet to be able to hold the base of the valve steady, while I pulled out the valve to shut off the supply. If I just pulled the valve I would have probably pulled the plumbing out of the wall due to my super human strength. 2. I have a custom soft close toilet seat that has special hardware that must be measured and positioned before you can snap/fasten the seat to it. So naturally I wanted to see if all the parts would work well together before I got too far. Fortunately the spin/adjust bolt holes made this a non issue. RECOMMENDATION: I would say if you have a small space for connecting the T-Connector and the hose, that you apply the plumbers tape (included) around the threaded parts before you position them. That plumbers tape is determined not to cooperate with you the minute you begin looking at it, let alone touch it. I am happy to report that there were no leaks at all on the initial installation!! This means one of two things... Either I'm really smart, or the parts are fool proof. I think the latter is actually the case. Someone else mentioned in their review not to forget the washer that comes with the T-connector, as I'm certain this and the plumbers tape contributed to my success. Finally the test. For some reason my wife was not interested in a user acceptance test at first because she felt uncomfortable with me standing there etc. I guess I can understand that, but after I explained that I was trying to ensure no post installation night time emergencies, she then agreed after I granted her the privacy she required. It passed, but she was still uncomfortable. I may update female use portion of this review after a comfort level has been achieved. I tested it too putting it through a "Full Cycle" maximum load test scenario. Friends.... all I can say is .....YOU HAVE NOOOOOO IDEA!! It's changed my life and I'm almost in tears. Approved!
