These liquid chalk markers are awesome! There are twelve different colors which are: brown, black, white, pink, purple, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, gold, and silver. These colors are very vibrant and look completely different than traditional dry chalk. The liquid chalk stays on and doesn't smudge after applying them to a chalkboard. The consistency of these liquid chalk markers is a mixture of dry erase markers with a wetter more paint-like form. I highly recommend using the chisel tip side to write small font, shapes, details, and lines. Use the blunt tip for bigger font, drawings, or outlines. This set also comes with 40 chalk labels which come in handy to label your pantry or party. They are completely reusable and you can use them for many different occasions. It also comes with a plastic tweezer to flip the tip of the liquid chalk marker from a blunt flat head to a finely chiseled head and vice-versa. In my experience, if you had these liquid chalk markers for a while, the side you have facing up will eventually dry out. You can shake the marker to try and get more liquid or you can flip the side shake it and flip it back so it's very coated in the liquid color and makes it easy to use again. An important disclaimer to note* If you use water to clean these liquid chalk markers they do not come off and may stain your board; however, I've learned that wiping them down with either isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) or Windex will do the trick.
