If I could know this thing would have a nice, long life, I'd be giving it five stars. I have carpeted stairs, and in my five years living here, I've never found the solution to cleaning them quickly, thoroughly, and easily - until now! Charged this bad boy up, went to town on the steps with the motorized brush attachment, and in under five minutes, they were cleaner than they've been since I moved in (and the vacuum's canister had the cat hair to prove it). I immediately moved on to my guest bathroom, which houses my cats' litter boxes. Yes, that means loose litter is tracked everywhere and knocked into corners and baseboards; all were easily cleaned up with the included crevice tool. Seriously, I am the world's lousiest/laziest housekeeper, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this thing could revolutionize the tidiness of my home. I've already recommended this powerful sucker (pun totally intended) to about six different people today, the vacuum's first day in my house, and now I'm recommending it to you.
