I'm only three chapters into this book (it only became available yesterday), but I've already read enough to be wowed. "The Hunting of the President" (his last book) was certainly an eye-opener, and left no doubt as to what really went on. This book presents its arguments just as intelligently and succinctly; exposing agendas, calling hypocrites on the carpet, and separating propaganda from reality. Boy, do we ever need THAT in today's America! Those of us who have been wondering why we haven't seen any evidence of the much-ballyhooed "liberal bias" in the media can finally wonder no more. IT AIN'T THERE! Joe Conason is a well-informed journalist who has consistently relied on facts over gossip, research over innuendo and rationale over rhetoric. Anyone with a mind open to the truth (as opposed to reckless character assassinations masquerading as the truth) should read his work and take it seriously, as so many of us have over the years. I already can't wait for his next book!
