Not exactly ideal for longer necks. Also a bit harder to pack that some of the other options.
I've now had several trips, including airplanes, buses, car rides, and trains, to test this product. The idea is great but the execution could be better, which is why I am writing this review. I hope that they come out with a new model after reading these. If they do, I will be their first customer.
Okay, now on to the review.
I am a 6' 2" male and have a longer than average neck, this is where this product suffers for me personally. The brace is one single size, with no adjustment options. When I place the bottom of the brace on my shoulder, the top of the brace does not make it to the top of my neck. This results in my neck still cranking uncomfortably to one side. Sure, it isn't as much as if I didn't have this product, but it still makes it almost impossible to sleep.
They need to add in additional sizes. If the brace made it from my shoulder to my jaw, this product would be perfect. I also wish that the brace was two pieces that snapped together or locked together in some fashion, because it is fairly large. This would allow it to pack much smaller. I have attached a picture below of my two travel options. As you can see, the inflatable pillow is much smaller and easier to pack. I feel like if I pack this in my bag the brace might bend or become damaged, so I've reverted to strapping it to the outside, which isn't ideal.
With the two modifications I've mentioned, I think that this has the opportunity to take over the travel pillow market. I would rate the product 3 out of 5 for my personal application and use, but I am definitely the minority as far as neck sizes go (tough life...), so I added a star because this probably works great for most people.
