I love these… They have all the options I wanted and more. I looked, compared, you-tubed; even took notes for over a year. I saw these and they have a wonderful guarantee and warranty so I figured what the heck… Since receiving these; I purchased a pair of Samsung earbuds to compare and I will not be keeping the Samsung. Other than the almost 80 dollar difference in price; the differences are minuscule. The sound is almost the same; neither like a Bose or JBL but they both sound really good. I know they think I’m crazy at work for the past 2 weeks I have been switching between the two throughout the day. The Samsung’s range is a tad less, can’t go as far from my phone. The Samsung earbud actually lacks in a few areas, they are not water-proof only water resistant, the charge does not last as long, the case is not a portable charger for other electronics and the touchpads are not as responsive. They have both the same tap functions except with the Samsung you must choose what you want the “touch and hold” feature to do. You have to change the “touch and hold” function of the touchpad if you desire something other than what it is programed for; I wanted volume up and down and it comes set for voice command (you only have 4 choices, you must pick 1 you cannot have all 4; voice command, quick ambient sound, ambient sound volume down (left) up (right). I changed it thus there is no longer voice command through the earbud. On a personal preference note; the Samsung beeps every time you tap them to do anything and that annoys me. One thing I absolutely love about the Samsung is the find my earbuds function in the app but it was not a deal maker for me… In comparison I cannot justify the price difference. These were a great purchase, the portable charging is not a powerplant but will get you through in a crunch. I do not have to touch my phone to do anything except make sure the bluetooth is on. I unwillingly tested their waterproofness (is that a word? LOL) one was accidently dropped in soapy water; I had to fish it out and rinsed it thoroughly. Still works just fine and still sounds good. Of course there are other differences good and bad with both; I just touched on those that were important to me and were the deciding factors for my final purchase. Unless you are a label snob and must have name brand these are a great buy and I have an extra 80 bucks to spend on shoes OH JOY!!
