We have a lot of flies in our yard, and they always manage to get in the house. No matter what I tried I could not get rid of them. I broke down and got this out of desperation. I got the three quart sized and placed them all over the yard. It's been up for less than four hours and there are already dozens of dead flies! Immediately works, I'll update in a few days, but I am fascinated by how fast this is working! Update: 6/14/17 Been using for a few months, I bought more of the Victor bait.These things are absolutely disgusting to change out, BUT the worse they smell, the better they work. I know exactly when I need to add more water because i start to notice flies in the house again. Do not place near your house, the idea is to get the flies away from you, so put this thing far away. Plus it smells pretty rancid and you don't want to smell that. I have three of this placed throughout my yard, through trial and error I found they work best in direct sunlight. I think it ramps up the smell. You need to keep adding water, I use a garden hose on low pressure and stand back a bit and aim for a hole, haha. My neighbors have pigs, and I put two of them on the fence we share with the pigs and it was amazing the number of flies it caught. Amazing and really gross. So in conclusion, these are gross, flies are gross, flies like gross, flies die.
