These are great lights for the price. I’ve seen some complaints about the remote so I’d like to address those: 1. The remote works, but you have to point it at the Black control box not the lights. Also make sure you remove the plastic insert. 2. The dimmer feature does not work. 3. Setting 8 is the steady on. Lights come well packaged so they aren’t tangled when you get them. I suggest hanging them up first and then undoing all the light bundles once the main strand is hung (this will make sense when you see how they are packaged).
