This habitat works perfectly for our family, our home, and our 2 five pound house bunnies. It has plenty of room for our bunnies to eat, sleep, play, and hide, and easily houses their Jumbo Litter Pan, also purchased from Amazon. The pan fits perfectly on one end, and is flush to the sides. Our bunnies are litter box trained, and it's so easy to reach into this cage from the top, pick up their box, and empty it, while allowing bunnies to still stay inside the cage. The food bowl fits onto a built-in, raised apparatus that keeps the bowl in place, therefore not allowing our rabbits to move it around and spill food. The plastic feeder that attaches to the cage is perfect for the bunnies' daily food hay. It comes with a water bottle, but we don't use it- our bunnies like to drink out of a small crock of water we provided. They are able to get in and out of the sliding door when we open it to allow them to get out and explore, but it's very secure when closed and they cannot open or chew on it. They also love to hide their toys and chew sticks in the "hidey hole", and can go in there when they need some alone time. The bottom and sides of cage wipe easily, and the openness of the top is great for bunnies to feel more "free" and human visitors to comfortably see and talk to bunnies. This cage is light to carry, and my husband put it together in less than 20 minutes. We highly recommend this as a "rabbitat", or other small animal house.
