I am a first time robotic vacuum owner. Wasn’t sure whether I would hate it or love it but ended up loving it. It works very well in our house. We use it on 3 types of flooring: vinyl, rug, and tile. It is able to adjust to different floors easily. The only trouble we experienced was on our rug. It is beige with dark circles inside and sometimes it would stop working on the rug. We read online that it is due to edge sensors and that the dark circles somehow disrupt the sensors. The bobsweep comes with some stickers that easily resolve this problem. For people who are still not sure about robotic vacuums PROS: -Bobsweep is easy to use. It comes with a manual, quick guide and there is a lot of info online -It is able to adjust to different floors easily. For dark carpets there is a simple solution to place stickers. -It has a docking station to which robot comes back on its own. -It is programmable to go to work on its own -It has multiple modes: we mostly use auto and wall modes CONS: -Gets stuck on loose cords -The dustbin does not have a bag, which i would prefer to throw away than the actual dust. -The design is too shiny for my taste but my family loves it. - the scheduling is not easy to lean - has problems with dark rug unless you put on the stickers Overall, I would not exchange it for any other vacuum and I am already planning to get one for Christmas for my parents.
