I've read a few reviews discussing the tightness of detaching from a Zerk fitting. Here's some information that I found online that should definitely be included in the manual: the coupler that attaches to the Zerk fitting is adjustable for tension! You have to use pliers to grip the knurled part of the coupler and unscrew it relative to the base of the coupler. Give it 4 or 5 turns. Note this is different from unscrewing the coupler from the hose. It will come off easily by hand after this. About the product itself: I haven't used this product for too long, but it seems like it's sturdy and well made. The included manual is reasonably detailed but I would appreciate it if it was longer or utilized more pictures. Then again, it's just a grease gun so you can likely find generic operating instructions online.
