I did a lot of research online for a LED light mask and I read all the reviews on all the amazon masks. This mask had never been reviewed. I initially wanted a face mask, that sets on your face. But all of the reviews said they are heavy and even when there was padding it left painful indentations on the face. So I changed my mind and went with the free standing LED light. This light had the most LED lights and covered all the light spectrums. I wanted the green light the most, some don't have a green light. It is for brown spots or sun spots. And I wanted the red light that is for fine lines and wrinkles. It has 7 light settings, with an automatic shut off at 20 minutes. I lay on the bed and set the 3 sided lamp over my face. It covers the front and sides of your face all at one time. You could easily set it over your chest and neck specifically, another reason I went with the free standing unit. Another reason I picked this one, not only did it have all the colors it had more LED bulbs that most units. It feels like it gives more coverage than a face mask. Its very soothing and I usually fall asleep. The shutoff timer is very loud though. I usually tell my alexa to warn me when the time is almost up so I don't get startled and I reset it on another light cycle. It comes with goggles if you want to use those. If I had to change anything on it, I would make the turn off switch more quiet. Everytime it snaps off, I about jump out of my skin its so loud. It also comes with a fan, I guess in case it gets too hot but it never has. I have done 15-20 minutes on green light and then switched it over to 15-20 minutes of red light. I have been trying to use it everyday, I haven't had it long enough to comment on its effectiveness. I will give an update. Even though I use it lying down, I suppose you could set it on a table and sit in front of it. It might have some more features that I'm not aware of because I didn't read the instructions. It came nicely packaged, with a manual but not good instructions. I didn't have to have any instructions to put it together or use. The 3 sides just snap together, and you could easily take it apart if you needed to take it somewhere. Seems very sturdy. the electronic pad is inuitive, so no instructions required to get you going. Turn it on, press the power button, press the time button(in 5 min increments) and press the color button. Right now I am happy with my choice. I keep it next to the bed and use it while I listen to the news each night.
