UPDATE: We've had these up for 2-3 weeks and the sticky is already coming undone. We're trying to find a remedy (command strips, screws, etc.) But we wanted to share this update. My husband and I were having a hard time figuring out what window treatments to put in our bay window at the front of our house. We live on a busy 3 way stop and vehicles & their headlights have a way of seeing straight into our living room. We originally wanted custom shades but after getting quoted for $700, we knew there had to be a cheaper alternative. I was hesitant when I found these on Amazon... Were they going to look cheap? Will they fit my windows? Will my kitty tear them to shreds? How will I install them? I decided to embrace the idea that I could take advantage of Amazon’s great return policy if I didn’t like them, and I made my order. They showed up 2 days later, and sat in their boxes until the next weekend. I wish I had put them up immediately because THEY’RE AMAZING! Prep and installation was slightly confusing at first but once we did the first one, the other two were a breeze! Just measure your window, get your cutting board & a knife, cut to the desired fit, peel the sticky edge and place it in your window! No tools needed! So instead of $700 in custom shades, I spent $70 on cordless shades that allow some light in but give us the privacy we desired. Thank you Amazon for always saving the day!
