A couple things you need to know to get a more accurate read from this thing. They should’ve been put on the package, but whatever. This thing is sensitive and it’s excessively easy to get a false positive on the LEU strip (the top one). If you get a positive on the LEU strip but a negative on NIT, do these steps to make sure your read is accurate. 1.) Clean your vagina first. A shower will do it or you can use an antibacterial wipe like you get from the doctors for urine tests. 2.) Hold your labia open wide with your other hand. You want NONE of your urine stream coming in contact with skin. 3.) Pee for a couple seconds before putting the test strip under your stream. This will clear out contaminants from around the front of your urethra. And 4.) time your wait time to EXACTLY 1 minute (for the NIT strip) and 2 minutes (for the LEU strip). Disregard all color changes after three minutes. The LEU strip will eventually turn purple after some time because of a chemical reaction to air. I hope that was all helpful.
