Good printer with lots of features.
My only complaint is that it took a minute to figure out how to reconnect it to the network after changing our wifi password because the steps i used for initial setup did not work this time. Also I couldn't find anything on hp's website that would point me in the right direction. But I was finally able to figure out that just above where the power cord plugs in there is a button with a wifi symbol and after pushing that button i was able to reconnect it to my phone and then the wifi for the house.
Another thing to point out is that every other hp printer we have owned had the power button in the front and for a second i thought that there was no power button. But there is a power button on the back which might be an inconvenience for some people.
There are good things to say about this printer. When printing, the pages definitely print faster than any other printer we've owned. The app makes it easy to print from your phone. The big thing for me is that when i am scanning my math homework, which is written in pencil, the process is much more user friendly than using my dad's officejet 4600 series. With the officejet i have to scan and then play around with the settings after every scan. With this printer i scan using document with black and white and the work is readable every time after the first scan.
I am giving this 5 stars because for me this is a very good printer now that i know this thing from top to bottom. I have been working on computers since i was a kid so for me a learning curve doesn't bother me, but for someone who is looking for a printer that is very user friendly, a printer with an lcd display might be a better option.
