The instructions on the box don’t work. After playing with the settings and downloading an app I didn’t need I figured it out. Step 1. Screw it in the light socket and then turn on the power. The light should turn on. Step 2. Go into the Alexa app and choose the devices option at the lower right corner and then choose the “All Devices” option on the upper right corner. From there you will see the new bulb ready to be synced. Please see my attached screenshot for reference.
