I have used Cuisinart food processors for 40 years. I became frustrated trying to find replacement parts for mine and ordered the Braun. Like my other processors, it has a continuous and intermittent on function but the Braun lets you control the blade speed. I love this feature. You can also remove the blade from the Braun and not worry about a leak thru the center hole. The Braun has a different blade mechanism. It is easier to clean and so much quieter than my other processors.
