1. Very powerful for both hardwood or tile floors and carpets. 2. Light weight 3. Cable long enough 4. Stands erect without needing to lean against a wall. 5. Can clean under beds - becomes 180 degree flat and the head swivels. I collect all the dust under the bed without moving the bed - with Dyson, I have to move the bed. I have a Dyson also but that is much heavier. Dyson also has a problem - you have to press and hold the On switch for it to run and after some time of vacuuming with Dyson, my finger starts hurting. In this vacuum, it clicks and stays on freeing my fingers. The only negative is the canister removal to clean is a bit hard - it takes a few minutes each time I have to empty it compared to Dyson where it is just one click. However, for 1/3rd the price, I would trade the Dyson for this. Strongly recommend this - this is perfect for homes and for college dorms.
