Lifestyle changes can be fun, challenging, and surprising. 2 years ago I began my journey finding natural, safer, and reusable items to replace the things I had been using. This year I was faced with the challenge of not being able to use my own washer and dryer in my apartment since the complex provides communal paid laundry facilities. I didn’t want to pay to have my laundry washed, but hand washing didn’t seem too appealing either, so I decided to invest in a hand crank washer. This little gem does a shocking amount of laundry and is super easy to use. I also get a nice light arm workout. It does an amazing job cleaning clothes. They come out fresh and smelling great and it’s gentle on clothes. The only catch is you need to ring out the clothes before hanging to dry. I’ve estimated that my little hand crank is also going to save me between $200-400 a year! That was my nice surprise! 😁
