I purchased this to make an environmental friendly wood polish for a wood product I then sell. It’s prime ingredient is bees wax. Beeswax is difficult to remove. I realized once I used it for this purpose I’d forever be using this slow cooker solely for my wood polish/sealant. I wanted a cheap slow cooker. I briefly looked at Walmart, Target and here on Amazon. By far, this was the best deal. I have no regrets. It has surpassed my expectations. Not only is it cheap, it has features that it’s competitors at higher price points lack. One such feature it possesses is an adjustable temp. Another nice feature some competitors lack: a see through/glass lid. And a final feature is the stainless steel exterior vs an ugly, cheaper looking exterior. This slow cooker cost me roughly the same as a drive through meal. It hasn’t failed me yet. For that price, a person can make many meals at home and save money doing so.
