This was a Christmas gift for my small nephew (10 months), whom gravitates towards musical instruments. We were careful to supervise him during play, but he really did seem to love these, especially the bells. I find that this is usually a good gift for someone around a year old to three years old, as we've gotten similar gifts for children in that age range before and it is always a hit. This company was fast, and the pieces to the instruments seemed well made and pretty secure for children.
