There are cheaper and small pen style ph testers out there but they are not as ggod as this one. I bought this to test the ph in my pool ( and my fish tank aquarium ) and get excellent results in just a few seconds. Just press button and I get immediate readings. Comes with protective cover for the tip and buffer powders too. I dont really use the buffers and I still get pretty close readings. Now that I have this I test my drinking water as well! Would be nicer if it also came with a pouch or storage case. Nice handy product to own. Overall, sturdy quality and amazing value for the price.
