Glad I took a chance
Apparently China has no quality control since most products have a percentage of bad reviews. But I lucked out. No smell, no nails or splinters or excess glue. Soap is easily picked up. These are nicely put together and very cute. Yes, sometimes I can see some soap remains on them but not much.
