Amazing solution for sinusitis or allergy sinus congestion
This was my first time using a Netty pot. I have to say it has helped me a lot with my sinusitis bacteria and immediate gratification. Thick mucus buildup in the back of my throat immediately improved with two uses.
However-☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼you must read instructions and use hygiene precautions (sterile water, safe storage, clean netipot w soap hot water thoroughly after every use and avoid all cost contamination of pot which can potentially if used wrong introduce bacteria into sinuses esp with tap water or lack of sterility)...I personally read online medical instruction (“how to use netipot sinus”)and YouTube video before use- as doctors have noted wrong use of netipot can cause nee infection....
☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼Also- my first time use, my sinuses were really clogged bad and backed up w/poor drainage causes fluid build up in-my ear and throat. I took my usual sinus meds allergy and did nose spray- within a few minutes i felt my sinuses Improve and thats when i turned back to using netipot - really saved me- all the mucous junk came right out clear and easy no back up w head tilted 45 degree angle - and sinus felt smooth and clean (amazing feeling)....
I love this netipot- well made and comes w several salt packets...great product if you use it correctly and personally a life saver.
Some medical websites say avoid using more than 3-4 times a day bc too much salt can dry mucous membranes.
Before use☝🏼
1)Always use sterile or boil water few min and cool it for several min (never use warm or hot water in nose) or use sterile bottle water —->❌❌❌ never use tap water bc risk infection contaminant Which can go inside your nose and cause more infection especially if your Fossett tap plug is contaminated w rust etc....
2) Read the directions before use or look up youtube “netipot “ u must tilt head 45 degree and lean forward on the sink to avoid back up of water into your ear throat which can cause discomfort...if your sinus is really badly congested or clogged- the netipot may not drain appropriately from other nose and you will get backwards flow in throat.
3) Try to limit the use at max 3 to 4 times a day because the salt can irritate the nose with prolonged use
4)Once again if this is your first time using look up YouTube or read the directions carefully
Otherwise-Highly recommend it and life saver👍
