I'm an NP student who needed an otoscope/opthalmoscope for a health assessment class, to use on students and models only (no patients). I didn't want to spend hundreds on a Welch Allyn since being a student is expensive enough, so I ordered this. It has a good feel and is easy to use. I personally am just learning how to use it but I had experienced colleagues try it out and they can confirm that it works. I'll probably get something more professional grade once I graduate but right now it fits my needs as a student.
