Nice looking file drawer for the price. Be aware, it requires assembly.
Since no one has bothered writing a review, I'll do my duty. Overall this is a decent quality item. HOWEVER, IT DOES NOT COME ASSEMBLED! While they do use "manufactured wood" it's good quality press board, covered in quality laminate. It does not "feel" or look cheap too cheap. It's got a nice solid feel to it. The drawers slide out on good quality hardware, handles and locks are all good quality. No one is going to think you spent $500 on it but they might think you spent $200 on it if they didn't know you assembled it yourself. Certainly it's nicer than a metal file cabinet from the office supply store. It comes with metal rails for hanging folders as an option. Expect to take 1 - 2 hours to assemble it depending on your previous experience assembling such things. I highly recommend putting on some baroque classical music and, and pouring yourself a good red wine before sitting down to assemble it. Standard sort of assembly for these sort of things - if you've ever assembled any office furniture before. Wood dowels and metal rods. A screw driver is all you need. Wood glue is used on the dowels, but they provide an ample size tube of it. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Components are all very well marked with hardware in clearly marked bags. All items (wood parts and hardware) have a letter code and that code is clearly printed on a label stuck to the part, or on the baggie the parts (like bolts) are stored in. You won't have any doubts about what bolt or screw to grab - the instructions will say "Bolt H" and the bolts you need will be in a plastic bag with a big "H" on it.
