I reviewed a LOT of similar charging devices before choosing this one. What led my choice was a lot of favorable reviews and the fact this one came with the quick charge 3.0 plug-in adapter, which a lot of the competition did not include. I didn't want to gamble getting a separate adapter and then have them tell me "your product doesn't work because you bought the wrong charger!". This one is all in one package so if it doesn't work, it's on them. My wife uses this at work so no comment on a bright light keeping her awake at night. She doesn't use the ear-bud charger, just the watch and phone parts, which work great. The watch firmly attaches magnetically when you set it on the stand. And the phone sits securely on the stand so she can keep it charging while she's uses it for business calls. Overall a great purchase which I recommend if you're looking for a multifunctional charger.
