This is one of the better mounting devices that I have purchased. I have purchased several. I do not like the cup mount devices because it takes up a valuable cup holder and takes my eyes off the road. Not good! I don't like the vent mounted devices because the air flow on hot summer days is diverted, although my phone stays nice and cool! This one was perfect. Used it on vacation this summer. Placed the suction cup beneath my rear view mirror on the windshield. Suction power was excellent! In fact, I had some trouble getting it off the windshield. Loved the extension arm and the ability to rotate my phone while I'm the holder. Also love the release button to easily remove my phone. This is a good product. I highly recommend it.
