I am the world's sloppiest blow-dryer user. I have almost-waist-length hair and IF I use a blowdryer it's in a very haphazard manner with just my fingers as a comb, nothing even CLOSE to a roll-brush or a plan. In about 14 minutes, straight out of the towel from the shower (hair was no longer dripping wet but still more than damp), I almost completely dried my hair and it feels like I got a blowout at a salon. It was still a bit damp around the crown that I ended up hitting with my blow dryer but I am not sure that can be attributed to the actual product, my skill level, or the fact I didn't read any instructions. Either way, I am BEYOND pleased and would recommend this item to everyone.
