Okay so I was really excited about these. Just got them this morning and I'll be updating the review according to battery use. 1. The instructions are pretty unclear. For example they state to hold the power button for 3 to 5 seconds to connect to bluetooth. If you do this while they're on they'll turn off you need to do it immediately after turning on. Holding this button down ('open the key' in the manual) controls about 60 percent of the thing from answering calls to pausing songs and is also the on/off button. Oof. 2. The bass is fine. These aren't Beats but they're much better than I was led to expect by the other reviews. In fact the bass is good even through my beanie (covering my ears) but I'm no bass junky, I don't really need to feel the vibrations in my brain stem. Fiancee is a music snob and can take bass that chatters my teeth and he says the bass is good. 3. Comfort is high. I practically couldn't hear my son shouting at me from inches away. Be careful though the sound is entirely based on whatever your BT device's audio is set at when it's wireless and nearly blew my eardrums out when I connected it to my Samsung Galaxy S 9 which I use at high volume for my car and turn down in the vehicle. I find being able to hear songs with the headphones off even at medium volume is a cool feature not a bug. Tested on my fiancee and at the same volume I cannot hear the sound when he's wearing them. Volume buttons change the sound on your device (in my case the phone). 4. NO ONE HAS MENTIONED THIS BUT IF YOU PLUG THE CORD IN THE 'WRONG' WAY THE SOUND IS MESSED UP. This is not a product issue. I'm not sure which was is the right way because there's no indication on the audio cable but when I plugged them in initially it sounded like trying to hear the songs through warbly glass. I made sure they were in tight but took them out and flipped the plug and it was fine. When you plug them in the headphones turn off (so the lights DO NOT WORK in wired mode) also if you're listening to music on a phone they switch from bluetooth volume control to media volume control. 5. Love the customer service. Super prompt, super helpful. They've earned a loyal customer in me all things considered. 6. Update: Listened all day and the battery hasn't dropped more than 10 percent. Veeeeery nice. 7. Update: I bought and charged this and went on a trip in November where I used the headphones a lot and didn't recharge. Two months later (January) I turned them on and used them to discord chat with a friend for two hours and the battery still is not dead. Whoooo!
