OMG my nails look polished! I have use other "drugstore" buffers and they were ok, but this actually makes my nails look like they were polished with clear nail polish. Unbelievable. If this is what you are looking for, by it. On the other hand the other buffers out there do a good job of making your nails look "clean" and well kept. But this is SHINY! I am pretty lazy so if sooner or later my nails will revert and I will try and do before and after. UPDATE: I am still hooked. I added photos but not sure you will be able to see a difference. the one on the left is before buffing. (please don't judge my ugly old lady hands!!) UPDATE from the update: I sadly need to downgrade by 5 stars due to longevity. I stand by what a wonderful product this is, but with just light use over the past 5 months (and I mean light, between 5 to 9 times?) I am in need of a new block and this seems silly. They were selling replacement strips that I bought once and can no longer find. If that was the case, it would still be 5 stars, but I am not buying a new product every 3 months even. If I find something I am that enthusiastic about, I will update my udate's update. LAST UPDATE!: I found a Tweezerman product just as wonderful and 1/4 the price. I like the understated look of this as opposed to fluorescent but....
