I bought XXL for both the short and long sleeve - Fits nicely and will be perfect for work because its not too tight. I am 5'9" waist 35", 40" hips, bust 36DD. The dress is not too short, the length is perfect, just below the knee. I also bought the long sleeve style for winter time. Great Retro dress and material is not too thin so you do not have to wear a slip but I do recommend a contouring slip to smooth out the lines. I usually wear a 12-14 in US dress sizes. It depends on the cut especially the arms and shoulders, because I have pretty broad shoulders and not much of a booty.
