The toilet had a thick brown deposit on the bottom that wouldn't come off with CLR, Iron Out, etc. I couldn't even scrape it off with pumice stone. I was thinking about buying a new toilet, but decided to try this first. 1 - Followed directions and put some in, waited 5 minutes and flushed. Nothing happened. 2 - Put some in, waited 2 hours and scrubbed. Saw some brown flakes come loose. This gave me hope. 3 - Poured a whole bottle into the toilet. Taped the lid shut and let it sit OVERNIGHT. In the morning I scrubbed the bottom and the thick brown bottom came loose easily, dissolving into flakes. I flushed the toilet and it looks like a brand new toilet! Sparkling clean!
