We moved to this house in 2016 and our dog was 12, so I wasn't concerned about fencing. He unexpectedly passed away in July and the house became quiet and empty. So I got 2 puppies - 3 & 5 months old - I know.... what was I thinking??? Not having a fence became an issue. We got an estimate to fence a portion of the side/back yard and it was $2500!!! And I am only talking a portion of the yard and plain old aluminum fence. I found this on Amazon and bought one box - not really knowing what 66 square feet actually look like, but it was too small for 2 active puppies. After a week of thinking about it i bought 2 more boxes. That gave me 48 panels (198 sq feet). I was able to fence in a portion of the front yard that included my front porch. I wanted to be able to let them out the front door and not worry about them running into the driveway or the street. It does exactly what I wanted it to; the puppies have plenty of room, and they appear to love the space - see attached video. And it was a fraction of the cost of a fence! The material appears to be strong enough to withstand the Windy City weather (I am in a suburb of Chicago) - which so far has ranged from 85 and sunny, to 60 and rainy and windy - all in the last couple weeks. The panels even look nicer than an aluminum fence. The stakes that hold the panels together are long and you do have to be careful to keep them straight as you push the panels together. It is to be expected if you are not careful, they could bend. It is super easy to put together... my 11 year old granddaughter can do it. Overall, I am super happy with this purchase. The result (and the cost) were exactly what I wanted.
