I have had this razor about 6 months and my experience has been positive the entire time. I was very skeptical about buying a Remington razor because my favorite razor was a Braun and I concerned about how well it would work. My problem was I didn't feel like paying the high price for a Braun which is like the BMW of Razors and my feedback is below: Pros: The foil guard snaps on tight and does not come off by accident. I had the opposite experience with my old Braun and the clear guard would jump off if you just looked at it funny, which was very bad and messy for traveling. Replacement foil: It's super cheap compared to a Braun, but I have not needed to replace it yet Battery: Charges fast and lasts a looong time, like many day or up to a week. Cleaning: Easy just pull off the foil and rinse under water Trimmer: I was expecting it to by flimsy and ineffective but my experience is the opposite and it works better than expected. Cons: Not a big deal but when I take off the foil the two bars of blades pop out of the holders. Maybe it's supposed to do this? It's very easy to put them back on in about 5 - 10 seconds. Overall I am very happy with this razor and it was a great price. I could buy about 4 - 6 of these and still be less than the price of a good Braun. Also, I do shave with it everyday and have pretty course facial hair. I hope that helps your purchasing decision.
