We love the Schwinn Balance Bike we bought for my 2.5 year old son! Especially when compared to his friend's Strider bike, the Schwinn wins hands down (in our opinion). Here's why: 1. The Schwinn bike is much more sturdy because it's heavier, but not so heavy that my now 3-year old son can't pick it up easily. The rubber tires are great because we live out in the country and our streets are not exactly smooth so they ride a lot better than the foam tires would. The bearings and frame have quality components and are well-made. The seat adjusts easily and fits my son just perfectly. The only downside to this bike is that the paint does scratch off easily but my son uses it practically everyday so I'm not surprised to see some wear and tear. We love it so much that we made a comparison video against the Strider Balance Bike.
