Update: 4 years later and still awesome. Still on the same set of batteries too. After a little over 2 months, the lid stopped opening more than an inch. I assumed it was the batteries, but new ones didn't help. Also, it got stuck in the open position. Update: After looking around a bit, I found some info on the manufacturer's site - you have to remove the batteries and leave it off for 24 hours for the lid to reset. And like magic, it works fine now =) Overall, now that I know how to get it to work again, it's awesome. It loses a star for not including instructions to fix what appears to be a common problem.
