There’s a war going on in my gut right now. I’ll be damned if Candida is going to win. If you’ve made it this far, I don’t need to tell you about good and bad gut bacteria. I am 50 years old and have been generally unwell for as long as I can remember. Symptoms that no one could put their finger on despite lots of testing such as sleep studies, labs and scans and medications such as antidepressants and sleeping pills, muscle relaxers and more. I’m a nurse and never learned about the overgrowth of bad gut flora in nursing school. Most doctors don’t learn about it either. The symptoms are many. I personally had chronic, almost debilitating fatigue, headaches, depression and anxiety, general unwell feeling, joint pains and many GI symptoms; bloating, acid reflux, constipation (which sometimes took me to the ER despite every OTC product I could get my hands on to avoid that situation and even regular enemas), relentless nausea with dry-heaving and more. It wasn’t until I turned to naturopathy that I got my answer. A simple blood test revealed yeast in my bloodstream which indicated leaky gut. I have an overgrowth of Candida. I have tired the Candida elimination diet on its own but failed. If you have an overgrowth of yeast you will know the insatiable desire for everything yeast needs to survive and thrive like grains and sugars. I decided to take a different approach which is to feed the good bacteria while killing the bad this time. It is working. I normally wouldn’t write a review this soon but it is definitely 100% working. I’ve been taking Dr. Gundry’s Total Restore with this but I’m confident it’s the pre and probiotics that are working. I’ve lost 3 pounds in a week, have no bloating and have developed sure signs of die off such as allergy-like symptoms and oral thrush. I just ordered Peroxide 3% food grade to gargle for the thrush. I’ve also added a liver support (photo attached) to help with the die off symptoms. None of this is even expensive. It’s just a matter of getting the right thing for your symptoms. I am not saying this will definitely work for you, rather letting you know it is working for me despite all conventional treatments for my symptoms. As a huge bonus for me, I am sleeping like a rock which I have never done in my entire life. I had no problems with packaging and shipping and haven’t needed to contact seller. Capsules are easy to swallow and have no bad taste. I have nothing negative to say. I believe some negative reviews may not understand there is a die-off process in which you may feel worse before feeling better in some ways (such as thrush and post nasal drip for me but could be different for you) or they have other health issues for which this supplement cannot help.
