I tried 3 other coffee grinders that I did not like before purchasing this Mr. Coffee. Because I use a French press, which needs course grinds, this little machine works perfectly. The mechanism allows you to choose how many cups of coffee you will make, tells you how many TB of whole beans to put in the grinder, and has a setting for the type of grind desired. Then, with the settings chosen, it automatically grinds the beans for the right amount of time. Easy to clean, and easy to use. Couldn't be easier!.
