The motor is super quite
I wanted to point out a few things that would have helped me decide prior to my purchase. I’m adding pictures and a video clip. I’m comparing the Bestbomg cordless clippers to my Whal corded fading clippers.
They are both almost identical in weight and size.
The Whal clipper motor is louder.
The Whal clippers came with a hard plastics case.
Bestbomg clippers came with a plastic tray
The Whal taper lever is smooth
The Bestbomg taper lever has 4 noticeable clicks.
The Whal clippers has an adjustable power screw on the side.
The Bestbomg clippers has two selectable speeds on the power switch.
The Whal fading clippers comes with ten guards
1-8, plus two fading guards.
The Bestbomg clippers come with six guards.
1-4, plus two fading guards.
Whal guards are hard plastic and snap on
Bestbomg guards are a softer plastic and have to be placed on...kinda used to the whal guards
Both the Bestbomg and Whal guards are interchangeable BUT the Whal guards sit “lower” on the Bestbomg clippers, giving you a closer cut. Just be aware of the differences in length if you accidentally mix the guards.
I will update on battery life after a few uses.
*** update ****
I’ve faded hair passed the 120 minute battery life by 20 minutes with my initial charge.
Overall it’s a good purchase
