I got this TV when it was on sale for $999, and I couldn't be happier. I see Samsung Curved UHD TVs selling for as much as $2,500 - I can't imagine how much better they can be than this model, as it is just about perfect in my opinion. 1. Simplest set up ever - I practically just plugged it in and synced it to Wi-Fi. 2. The UHD picture quality is crazy good! Crystal clear, and sharp color separation. On the 1080p TV I had before this one, any scene that was dark had a pixellated look - the shades of black weren't smooth or rich looking. On the Samsung, the blacks are smooth and rich looking. 3. The menus are a breeze to work with. Without using any kind of manual, it was easy to figure out how to go from TV to Netflix to Hulu. Speaking of which, Netflix has better picture quality than I have ever seen before! 4. On my old TV, when I wanted to watch something on the BluRay player, I had to select BluRay with the Input button on the remote. With the Samsung, once the BluRay drawer closes, the TV switches to that input and the disc starts playing. I can't say enough good things about this TV. And for about $1000, you can't beat it!
