Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I read a ton of reviews before deciding on this as my vacuum sealer. There are many complaints about how the Vacuum/Seal function doesn't seal as well as the Seal function and that sealing liquid items doesn't work very well. Wellll, if you read the instructions, it says to pretty much freeze all liquid things before trying to vacuum seal them. I did an experiment and tried just doing something wet and then doing the same thing frozen, and the Vacuum/Seal function worked great on the frozen items, but not so well on unfrozen items (when the liquid is getting sucked out, it gets in the way of the seal). I also noticed that it is best to freeze bread items before hand so they can retain their shape and don't get crushed during the vacuum process. I think this vacuum sealer is great for the money, you just have to follow the instructions. :)
