I needed a travel pillow to help combat my acid reflux, so I decided to try this wedge. It took me a while to find the right configuration, but when I did, I found it to be almost as comfortable and effective as my overpriced medcline pillow. One bonus it has over the medcline is that it is quite a bit smaller and less intrusive for my partner. I found it to be a little warm and I did not experience any cooling effect from the gel-memory foam. Overall, I recommend it for those that need to sleep on an incline to help prevent reflux.
