Works great. There seems to be some confusion here about how to use it, so here it is: IT GOES IN LINE ANYWHERE ON THE LINE YOU WANT TO PUT IT. 1) Before you tie off the ends of your line, simply run the line through the hole in one end of this gadget, through the hole in the middle ratchet and out the hole in the other end..2) Pull the line as tight as you can when you tie off the ends. 3) Crank on the ratchet on the winch to take up as much slack as you want. If it loosens up later on then crank on it some more.
