We have a robot vacuum hiding under our butcher block and a smart speaker that sits on top. All of this amounted to an unsightly adapter-plug-cord-power situation. Epitome of a first world problem, I know, but it just bugged me. Stumbled upon this option and then hesitated to pull the trigger for a month or so because, 1. let’s face it—it’s a rather expensive extension cord option and, 2. no one else in the family was even remotely bothered by unsightly cords. Anyhoo, after much inner debate I finally broke down and “treated” myself to one of each size for the two most prominent messy cord areas. Could use a few more but I don’t plan to buy them, simply due to cost for what’s arguably a luxury, albeit low-profile, extension cord. That said, no regrets here. Took the advice of another reviewer and removed the faceplate from the outlet so that this would sit more closely to the wall. I sanded down the socket face with fine grit sandpaper and painted it the same color as our wall. Worked great and I ended up doing the same thing with our switch plate. It’s not invisible or perfect… but it blends in enough that I no longer gaze at this area with contempt. I like the fact that self adhesive cord covers were included. But, the 3’ cord (shown) only came with a 5 or 6 very short covers, like 1” each. Rather than use a string of short ones, I stole these longer options from the package that came with the 9’ cord.
