Excitebike is BACK!!! 30 games on this little bad boy. It's a blast from the past. The controller feels just like it did 30 years ago. It's like meeting up with an old friend you had not seen in years. And picking up where you left off at. Time has no bound over the NES. The CRT filter is fun and makes us appreciate where technology has come from. My one and ONLY complaint about this NES is the length of the controller cable. Just over 2 feet, it does not give you much room to play with. To counter that, I'm adding a much longer HDMI cable. Sure they make the 6ft extension cables for the controllers. But after you buy two of those you might has well have brought one HDMI cable (25ft for $10 on Amazon) and hide it along the wall in the carpet. Bringing the whole system over next to you. Now you don't even have to get up to hit the reset button, to go back to the main system menu. All in all this NES is a must for anyone who was breathing in the 80's and 90's. Here's hoping for the Super NES and N64 Minis. *******UPDATE 11/17/2016******** Today I added the 25ft cable I had ordered from Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BEW9BBW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) Now the cable goes from the back of the TV. Then along the wall between the carpet and the wall, out of sight. Then plugs into the NES that sits in the middle of the two lazy boys. No lag, works great. Better than buying an extension. And I don't have to get up to hit the REST button on the NES to go back to the main menu. I am still going to keep my 4-star rating.
