Better than I expected! This simple little set up was very effective for brewing iced coffee. I tried making it from hot coffee a few times just puring the hot coffee over ice, , but it was very bitter. This worked fine and I got no coffee grounds in my brew. This makes a "coffee concentrate" that you will probably need to add water to in order to make the iced coffee you're used to drinking, so it will last a while. I broke the first jar on the one I ordered on the first try. I thought the lid was screwed on tightly but when I lifted it the jar fell out of the bottom and broke. My fault for not making sure it was secure, but make sure the lid is screwed on completely before lifting. I ordered a second one ASAP and am very happy with it so far.
