forget sand and water to install your bag. Go to hardware store or wal mart and get a wide mouth funnel used for canning. It fits in the mouth of the jar. Well, it fits over the mouth of the container for the sand or water. Buy the cheap clay kitty litter. I had some of the expensive clumping kind and I used that 14 lb box and then I thought...don't need the expensive kind. Went to Walmart and bought three 25 lb bags of the el cheapo kitty litter @ 3.99 each. I put the funnel over the mouth of the container and poured all three bags in easy as pie. It would hold some more but the 89 lbs I had in there was enough for me. I am a 76 year old female (who is fit and strong) but a large man may want to fill it to the brim. A little sweep and a run with the vacuum cleaner and it was all done. I can't imagine the mess with water and sand in my workout room.
